The Goblin!
You are really just the truest incarnation of a bastard. Like one whole bastard squeezed into the size of a goblin. Two bastard per bastard if you will.
Optional Bane: You only have 3 HP and only gain 1 per HD.
A. Historically Starved. You are never deprived due to lack of food. Also, as an action you can swallow and store one object in your goblin gullet per template. Must be feasible, though a goblin's mind is similar to a pelican's in this regard. Optional rule: When you take damage with something in your gullet, save or swallow.
B. Historically Beaten. You have rubbery cartilaginous bones, and you naturally resist 1 damage and can squeeze though small holes and into tight spaces others may not, even more so if you time to squish your skull, about 1-minute, as goblin skulls never fuse all the way. You can also make a hearty stew with vile ingredients. You and your allies can eat it and not starve but it will decrease their morale as well as the moral/loyalty of any non-goblin hirelings.
C. Historically Fecund. You gain +1 permanent HP when reduced to 0 HP or 1 HP and survive. This extra HP is gained after a big lunch. Also, you can create a goblin hireling wretch during downtime. All you need is refuse, offal, table scraps or compost and a maggot and your own phglegm (goblin phlegm).
A wretch can dig 5 cubic ft. of dirt in an hour. They can carry 5 stone of equipment, anymore and they complain. They will bear shields and torches but won't fight except as a mob and run at the second sign of danger. They will be quick to demand pay (1cp a day) and mercy but slow to forgiveness of transgressions. They will complain loud and often, and you can usually pay them in alcohol and courtesans. They should be about 50% of the negative outcomes of your Carousal table. And that's just the human ones. Multiply everything above by 100% for goblins. Goblin wretches can also make their own wretches. Fecund.
D. Nocturnal. You can see in perfect darkness. No one else can do this (in my games) unless you spit in their eyes.
